Ten-year-old Joy Bigsley wants a best friend more than anything in the world. But everyone she meets around Camp Wanna Banana, the youth camp where her whole family lives and works, eventually leaves. The only ones she has to play with are her pet spider monkey, Munch-Munch, and her crazy twin brother, Jake, who wears a bucket on his head and loves exploring as much as Joy loves her precious books.

Then one day, Jake and Joy hear a mysterious rattle in the woods of Camp Wanna Banana--and even Joy gets caught up in the excitement! But before the mystery is solved, Jake's adventurous spirit may come in handy after all--and may just be used by God to help make Joy's dearest dream come true!
