The Wild Harvest

Against the backdrop of the Big Bend country of Washington State, this unique story relates the inner workings of a 12,000-acre wheat farm and a young man's school life mixed with his personal relationships with family and friends. From the amazing finish of a state playoff baseball game to the school ending dance and midnight drag race, the story is fast-paced. As harvest time approaches, the "Wild Bunch" arrives at the farm to begin a hectic three-week push to bring in over 6,000 acres of wheat. Imagine the scene, if you can, of ten combines and over a dozen trucks driven by young high school and college men. After the harvest, the push is on to plant next year's crop! During all of this, the high school football coach is devising an offense that will bring Columbia its first state championship.
