I think that they have already warned the wicked witch that you are in the woods. They are keeping an eye on you until the vampire soldiers come to take you back to the castle," the Mushroom Eyes says.
"I don't see any other evil beasts around here," Tianka tells it.
Before the Mushroom Eyes can say even a word, a noise can be heard coming closer and closer from deep inside the forest.
"Oh good witch, please use some magic to keep us from being killed," it frantically pleads.
"I can only use my powers when wicked harm is going to happen to someone such as with the villager or a creature of the forest. I think this includes you," she says.
Just before the vampire soldiers appear Tianka chants, "All colors fade and blend into the tree. Let the vampire soldiers not see Tianka and the Mushroom Eyes we do plead."
Suddenly, they both become invisible and the vampire soldiers run past them without even knowing they're there. They stay that way until the evil creatures head back to Saria's castle.
"Dear good witch, I beg of you. Please let us turn around and go back," the Mushroom Eyes says while shaking in fear.
"I cannot. Saria is doing something very wrong and evil. It involves my husband Jadar. He has been bitten by a vampire and I must find out why. Oh Mushroom Eyes, I have to go forward. This is my family's well being at stake. If you are too afraid I will hide you under a big tree in the twigs and make the rest of the journey myself. You will be safe. I will pick you up on my way back. I have to find out what she is up too," Tianka says.
The Mushroom Eyes lowers his eyes in shame and says, "If this means so much to your family and you, I will tag along. I will not be a coward. Nor will I let you down. We are in this together."
Tianka picks it up in her hands and kisses it between its big eyes.
"Thank you. There are not too many humans, much less creatures of the woods, that will do this for me," she kindly tells it.
She places the Mushroom Eyes gently in her pocket and continues her journey deep into the forest.
