When Candida decided to visit her great uncle, who lived in a crumbling castle high in the mountains of Scotland, she was unprepared for the bizarre happenings that followed. But her first night in the mountains brought an eerie encounter with an ethereal and strangely silent young woman. The next day, Candida and the young woman embarked on a tour of the ancient castle and suddenly stumbled upon a secret room containing a long-lost and highly valuable painting—The White Rose. And Candida couldn't help the shiver of terror as she felt as she realized that the girl in the painting bore and uncanny resemblance to herself! Was it just a coincidence, or had Candida fallen into the grip of a sinister evil from the past?
