The Warwicks of Slumber Mountain

The mysterious Warwicks drift in and out of their mountaintop mansion like wraiths. People in town say they're different. Maybe witches. Cross them and your children sicken, your garden withers, your dog dies.

 

Lindy believes the whispers. When she was seven, a brush with them left her father dead. Now she lives at the foot of the mountain and avoids them.

 

Then one night she rescues Gareth Warwick from drowning and ends up making a bargain with them.

 

Because Lindy is a clairaudient. 

 

And the Warwicks need her to communicate with the mountain itself. Surely, letting them use her soul won't be wrong. She's only loaning it for a little while.
