John English became aware of a stranger walking around in his head when his memories began to run coherently, like films, and be began to ask himself questions to which he had known the answers all his life.

Gradually it became apparent that the telepathic visitor was an alien and that the purpose of his visit was invasion from another world. A very unpleasant invasion needing the elimination of half the human race by human robots.

It is one thing to know what will happen, another to convince anybody else that it will. The only people who believed him were his own family, who were themselves being prepared as hosts for the invasion commanders, a Cabal of Destruction, for Minds need bodies. How else can worlds be conquered?
