The Voice of Christmas Present

After Thanksgiving with Daniel, Sarah, Philip, Batsy, Michael, and Benjamin Pennington, Philip leaves his grandfather with an unwelcomed present: Russell is struck with a recurrence of a high fever, bringing the deadly arthritis back to his body. Recovery is necessary in town while waiting for Christmas and Batsy. Lil's first Christmas in the cabin. Her face is healing after being struck by her son, Daniel, and her love for Russell growing while she battles some remaining fears of both his Gorgeous, and her son's affect on her new family. However, as all things Lillian, this Christmas would bring more to their lives than thoughts of the Savior's birth. A constant Voice, Russell's frustrated amorous attacks, and Lil's attempt to finally trust her husband completely. Or mostly, anyway.
