The Vampire Who Sold Houses

Clarissa is more than five hundred years old. She is a special kind of vampire, one who can be in the light. She moves among us, feeds on us carefully and knows how to blend in unlike the male vampires who go on occasional rampages and cause all kinds of chaos that the authorities have to cover up. Clarissa is at peace with her life, she actually has a job and she is good at it. Everything goes well until a young man comes along that she takes a fancy to and then everything goes to hell.
