Located in a quiet suburb just out side the city, sits a shop called “The Valentine’s Shopâ€. It was a shop unlike any other I had ever come across and it had a shop owner that was as “quirky†as the shop itself. It had a paper-flyer ad that it posted online, which had nothing but words that sounded corny. In its ad, it claimed that it was a one-stop shop for all Valentine’s Day needs but what really caught my attention was the claim that it could help me find my “soulmate†in life. It was Valentine’s Day and I was without a Valentine’s partner. Driven by my curiosity, I decided to go check it out.
This is a fictional short story about Valentine’s Day, true love and the “twin soul†with a touch of humour and twists. There are many things in life that are beyond our control. The meeting with a “twin soul†usually comes when we least expect it. But there is usually a lesson to be learned from that experience, a profound and life-changing lesson. There is a reason for everything and whether we like it or not, rather than resist, we should allow it to flow â€" trust the path we are on, its been predetermined.
