In a romance, it would have been a perfect match. She would be fiery and wild, and he would have been swept off his feet by her untamed nature. He would have been proud and masterful, and she would have made him gentle by her adoration. However, this was not the story and the marriage was the best that could be made out of a disaster. She was rather mild by nature, and he was known as a spendthrift and a rake, who cared little for women.
