Somehow, inter-planetary slave traders had to be stopped. The traffickers had the technology to stay one flight ahead of the Military. Only when humans accepted the evolution of other sapient species could they join forces to combat this evil trade. If they got it right, their net could be cast wide enough to catch those at the top.
Recruiting heroes was tough enough, but would the promise in their gene scans be realized by their deeds? They needed to know the technology that would help them take on an organization as well as dodge the spitting hell of the smugglers lasers.
The Military needed to offer more than state of the art support, they needed to forget prejudices along with politics if they were to rid the heavens of these merchants of death.
