Jackie & Gillian are friends with shared interests in most things, but Gillian harbours a secret - something that continues to come between her and her mother; and; that had frozen her heart against any idea of romance. Jackie, however, about to turn thirty, is ready to settle down: seek a marriage partner and start a family. Although she loves her friend, Gillian's seeming reluctance is limiting her scope for establishing meaningful relationships with members of the opposite sex.
