James Brody has fled the nightmare of Prime One to try and forge a family with his wife, Ecaterina. But strange dreams plague him and the death of their infant child leads him to seek the aid of an old mentor to try and stop death itself. A mentor that James may regret contacting.
At the hands of Dr. Randolf Curwen, James finds himself locked in a nightmarish asylum, with only his new creation Adam and Liger, a half-human/half-feline hybrid, as companions. As the full scope of his enemy's plans become clear, it will test James to his limit to stop them... and call into question whether he should.
