The Turn

Nineteen year old Jason Pierce seemed to need a wake-up call to get his life kicked into gear. Video games with his friends dominated his life… until his life took a sudden and unexpected turn. It was all over in less than five minutes. No bandits and no wagons, except the wrecked one, remained. The wounded bandits had crawled, indeed scrambled away in pain and confusion. Whelan, and Harvick stood there, stunned. “It worked,” Harvick mumbled. He grabbed Whelan by the shoulders and shook him, yelling, “It worked!” Banock and Jahawn also stood there, raising their arms in the air and yelling, huge smiles on their faces. Dakin turned and gave Jason a big hug. “I knew you could do it,” she whispered in his ear.
