The Tryst

Patricia Merrill thought she was being adventurous when she ran off to New York, took a new name and a job as companion to an old woman. Her family would never be able to find her now. Then she and her employer took a trip to a charming hotel in the South. To her dismay, Patty discovered that a childhood friend, John Treeves, was staying there too.
