It's 2024. War has been raging across the globe for thirteen years. There is no end in sight, and no escape from the chaos. Marooned after pirates hijacked a luxury cruise ship off the coast of Antarctica, David County finds himself rescued and embraced by a mysterious underground colony of scientists, soldiers and civilians. Known as the Treaty, this neutral, ungoverned settlement of refugees seems to have more secrets than itself hidden below the ice of an otherwise abandoned continent.
