The Terror and Mercy of the Cross

As John Elio is serving at mass, explosions blow up the church and everyone inside. He and Timeo Severe's hero association, the Dominion, is under attack by people who know that both men are invincible and that the only way to take them down is to ruin their legacy, forcing them to be criminalized by the world, and take matters into their own hands. As they take the fight to a foreign land, true justice bends to no man-made law, and John and Timeo will be both terrifying and merciful to their enemies, as the suffering their enemies put them through will only make them more powerful.
