Tansy Tamerlane was headed for yet another position as governess when her distant cousin Ashley, Duke of Avanoll, invited her to London to act as a sensible chaperone to his flighty sister, Lady Emily.

But the captivating Tansy was soon society's darling, and much to the Duke's chagrin, his household was overrun with ardent suitors. The arrogant young Duke, a confirmed bachelor, found his irrepressibly spirited cousin quite exasperating, infuriating ...but decidedly fascinating.
