The Teachers

The Teachers is the fourth and final novel in the Parallel Ops series. Sequestered in an underground bunker for their own protection, the NWIDI team's four amateur investigators-joined by a husband-and-wife flight crew, a four-year-old child and a dog-are tasked by the President to serve as the first U.S. emissaries to make contact with an alien intelligence. Meanwhile, an international super-cartel known only as the Six is dedicated to furthering their own interests by preventing any alien alliance. The leader of the Six is also obsessed with eliminating the entire NWIDI team at any cost. Making contact with the Teachers is the last hope to save humanity from self-destruction. Will mankind learn before time runs out...again?
