The Sword of the Peacemaker

In the early seventies, after the bloody and costly Six Day War, Israel finds itself involved in a new crisis. Both the Israeli and the Palestinians are suffering from severe, unexplainable and deadly gastro-intestinal disorders which, due to the lack of reliable data, they blame it on the poisoning of fresh water wells by each other. Against this potentially explosive background, Michael Travis, a popular, highly regarded trouble shooter employed by the International Health Agency in Geneva, travels to the Middle East to investigate the medical problems that are now threatening the fragile peace. His job is to Investigate and offer his recommendations to try to remove the increasing threats that are that are expected to result in the outbreak of another conflict Michael utilizes a small group of assistants and afew of his friends to help him prevent the inevitable from happening. A series of unforeseen circumstances threatens his entire operation and may even result in one or more of the peacemakers being accused of murder All of his attempts to seek solutions will not only place into action all of his best hard-learned diplomatic skills as a peacemaker but also the effective use of a "mighty sword" Ultimately, in this land where Christianity had its beginning, only the "Sword of the Peacemaker" can become the force that will determine the outcome.
