The Sweet Man in the Woods

This is the story of a young thirtyâ€"something woman who is caught in a verbally abuse marriage. Though at times she desperately wants to leave that marriage and to free her spirit, she is finding it very difficult. On one of her daily walks with her beloved dog, she meets a man in the woods ---- a very sweet man in the woods. From her interactions with him and her eventual love for him, she finds the courage to set a plan in motion to leave her abusive husband. The logistics are not easy. Once she escapes from her husband, she is so hopeful of a lifetime with this man from her walks in the woods. Things do not work out exactly as planned. Her life takes many turns and twists. There is definitely grief in her story. There is also hope. There are strong bonds of friendship with people she has known all her life. And, there is the story of her developing a new life for herself. In the end, she finds love where she least expects it. The sweet man in the woods gave her a wonderful gift.
