The Starter Boyfriend

When a tuxedo mannequin gets stolen in a senior prank, 17 year-old Courtney Walsh finds herself in a midnight pursuit along southern California beach boulevards, trying to save more than the mannequin, but the after-school job at the tux shop she's come to love, too. She turns to the unlikeliest of people for help--a surfer boy who is as resourceful as he is good-looking--and her load begins to lighten. If she's lucky, she might find not only what she needs, but what she wants, too.
