The truth of the matter is that William "Billy" Wright is sick of spy craft. Ever since he joined the US Army as a young man, he has been fighting on the front lines of the Cold War. Wright longs to retire to a quiet life with his beloved wife, Nicola. After erasing his history at the world's major intelligence agencies, Wright gets his wish. He and Nicola settle down in Tampa, Florida. Wright is happy to work for Delta while Nicola becomes the globetrotter in the family through her job as a stewardess with Pan Am.
