This is the twelfth book in the Kentucky Summers series or fourth in the Kentucky Summers 2 series. Timmy lives with his Mom, stepdad, Sheriff Hagar Cane and his younger sister in the back of a country store with a pay lake. During the fall of 1964 while hiking in the Kentucky mountains to come upon a girl ready to jump from a cliff into a stream filled with boulders. After talking her down, fifteen year old Timmy is troubled by holding promises to her and secrets inside. Keeping secrets this time could cost a friend her life.
