The Snowflake Horse

The Snowflake Horse tells an enchanting tale about Wonder, a curious and brave horse who is blind in one eye. Wonder dreams of seeing an awe-inspiring winter wonderland one day. With the help of his best friend, a kind Arctic owl named Snowy, the two go on an incredible adventure to Snowy's Arctic home, meeting different types of animals along the way. Wonder's tale teaches children that we have a lot in common with snowflakes, to value our friends, and to appreciate the beauty of nature and all her seasons. This storybook was inspired by Halverson's special horse, Willy, who is blind in his left eye.
