The Skyscraper Rocket Ship

Johnny Palmer and Laura Sharpe live in a high-rise block of flats. It is a bad area so their parents will not allow them out to play on their own and they are too busy to take them out. Strange things begin to happen in the skyscraper; weird noises and things growing inside the walls. Does the strange boy that lives on the thirteenth floor have something to do with it? The skyscraper turns into a spaceship and takes everyone to the planet Erinnea. Life on Erinnea seems pretty ordinary but there is something strange going on. The problem is, whenever Johnny notices anything out of the ordinary he seems to forget about it almost immediately. Meanwhile all the adults are getting sick. What is causing this illness, why are the Erinneans so obsessed with television, and why have the Earth people even been brought to Erinnea?
