TROUBLE IN THE FAMILY
Ever since Vanessa's father and Ricki's mother got married—with a little help from the girls—Vanessa and Ricki have been sisters, as well as best friends. And, just as they had planned, they became a team, doing everything together... until recently.

Now they're in junior high and they can't seem to agree on anything. Ricki got her ears pierced—the idea makes Vanessa sick. Ricki cut her hair—Vanessa wishes she hadn't. Ricki has even made new friends and Vanessa isn't very happy. But then Ricki isn't too thrilled about Vanessa becoming a vegetarian either. It looks like the great sister scheme is falling apart...until they remember the key ingredient that made their partnership work to begin with.
