Unmoved by moral absolutes, Shellaman Entyme dumps her Bible-thumping husband and her son for inguinal fulfillment through drugs, pain, and degradation, a lifestyle that gnaws away at her heart and soul until she reaches the bottom side of down. Pastor Entyme and his son wake up to inglorious redemptive potential in earth-bound reality when they are pummeled by gruesome and sordid humanitarian truths regarding their losses and irretrievable familial mistakes. They end their internecine relationship, and set out to train their hearts and minds to the good, to walk in the shadow of the possibility they might live happily after.
