After a tearful call from his sister, the usually very composed, unflappable Mary Sue, Pres Hooper flies off to Ireland to console her and Colonel Garrison at once sends Dan along as well to find out why everything went so wrong. Colonel Garrison is convinced that part of the reason is because his theory is right and hit too close to the mark, specifically, that hostilities in Northern Ireland continue to flare up because there are certain individuals with vested interests deliberately fanning the flames.
