      The story outlines the exploits of a group of secret agents known only as Section 5. Unofficially, they are the Canadian government's problem solvers who are sent to resolve various sensitive and potentially damaging political issues worldwide. They have carte blanche on such missions and only one rule: get the job done. How they accomplish their task is never questioned.

      Officially, Section 5 is non-existent, yet most foreign agencies have considerable respect for these ghosts. They suspect they exist, they just can't prove it. Section 5 also handles domestic issues when the judicial system may be unable to effectively deal with the offenders. Legal niceties do not apply to Section 5. If you are a problem to society, Section 5 will remove you-no questions asked.
