The Seekers

To serve his country, Union Captain Lawrence Wainwright becomes Lincoln's spy. He infiltrates the Richmond mansion of the Confederate's power players by assuming the identity of a slow witted boy/man.

As a man of faith in action, Lawrence resents his alter ego, especially when Rachel Hawksley steps into his world, heart, and soul.

Rachel's pure stubborn Yankee on a mission of her own to cross enemy lines and find her MIA brother. She's got a colt revolver hidden under her skirts, and she collects lost lambs of children and slaves like a bee collects pollen.

When she mistakenly tries to take the mentally challenged Lawrence under her wing, things get complicated fast.

Entangled in the subterfuge of Confederate secrets and double cross, friends turn against them and, in a deadly game where no one is who they seem, Lawrence fights to get Rachel and those they love safely back home.
