The Sedated Traveler

This is a short story about a fellow by the name of Peter Cushing. There's nothing particularly unusual about Peter. He's a college graduate and makes a modest living as a writer of novels. Being a bit of a loner seems to have helped with his writing. He's not a recluse by any matter of means, but he finds solitude becomes a friend when crafting a complex plot or trying to come up with a good ending.Peter was married at a young age but now finds himself unattached. He and his former wife get along very well, now that they don't see each other anymore.In this story, we find this fairly ordinary guy embroiled in extraordinary circumstances. Things get a little dicey for him at times, but he always does his best to maintain his self-control and composure.When trying to describe the genre of this little story things can become somewhat perplexing. After finishing, most readers will, I'm sure, come to the conclusion that they have just completed a science fiction tale.But here's where things get a little tricky. An ever-increasing number of people will come away convinced that this was actually a serious documentary. Knowing all that we know today, maybe they have a point.So, in essence, it's all up to you. Sci-Fi adventure, or documentary. It's your call. I'll happily accept your verdict either way. I hope you enjoy the tale.Keep on turning those pages!
