The Secret Love of Melito of Sardis

During a general persecutiojn of Christians, she and her parents were arrested and imprisoned. Melito tried to convince her to save herself by denying her faith, but she was faithful to her Savior. When she and her parents were executed, Their heroism affected Melito deeply, and he became a Christian himself, eventually becoming bishop of Sardis.
