So much for the glamorous life this holiday season. Last year, Olivia Todd was onstage in New York with the other fabulous Rockettes; this year, her whole holiday has just been put on ice--literally. A broken ankle sends her home to Baltimore, where the only gig available is playing Mrs. Claus at Rossman's department store. Such fun!

It gets better. The ex-boyfriend (affectionately known as King Rat) has managed to trash Olivia's reputation all over town by making her the subject of a `fictional' cable TV show about a bad- news girlfriend named--yep, Olivia. And it's called The Nutcracker. So now her only Christmas wish is a second chance, and with a little help from her seventh-grade sweetheart--plus some of that wonderful Christmas magic--who knows? `Tis the season, after all ...
