The Secondhand Husband

Secret Hanes is a social worker in training to work with the elderly. She joins a group of Seniors who meet daily at Buckshot Restaurant in the nearby village of Shotgun Creek. This turns out to be more than she bargained for when two of the seniors in that community are murdered. Even so, Secret is anxious to figure out what is going on. Gossip casts an undercurrent of suspicion on a number of people. Her curiosity has led Secret into the thick of the mystery. Will she manage to find answers to her questions while staying safe herself? She wonders but is too stubborn to let the puzzle go.
