Leaving city life behind, Charles Scott returns to his rural hometown to farm the family land, only to discover that his field of waving wheat has become the nighttime abode of long-extinct dinosaurs. Prehistoric echoes collide with small-town despair, building up to a storm seventy million years in the making.
