The Search

Safety is within reach for the small band of survivors trying to flee rot infested California. They are on a chopper with nothing but clear skies between them and getting out of the Quarantine Zone. The research Dr. Talbot left behind when the Southeastern Checkpoint was overrun by the infected, however, is too valuable to leave behind. The group splits up, with half taking the chopper to fly out of quarantine and the others going for information Talbot believes holds the key to a cure. Neither the path to safety or the path back to the Southeastern Checkpoint is an easy one and both halves of the group find themselves in a fight for survival they may not be able to win.
