Nicky French was hungry for one sexy man, Mick St. Simons, the owner of the Flamingo Rustler â€" only the hottest club in Richmond Virginia. Between his six foot five inch body, his sultry Australian accent and his long golden locks, she was hooked. Too bad she could never trust another man after her ex had driven her into hell. After all, Mick was nothing but a playboy and so she kept him at arms length. However when the bar became embroiled in dire financial straights, she agreed to work with her best friend Veronica, in developing an event unlike any that the rustic joint had ever seen. Ride the Wild Pony was scheduled and it was up to Nicky to convince Mick the snazzy event was a good idea. She did so with one sensual moment in a secluded storeroom - an unbridled slice of passion. When guilt set in she was mortified. This was no more than a scheme, a game in which she could lose her heart.



What no one realized was that Veronica held a secret and one that could destroy her friendship with Mick. After all, the man wasn’t who he purported himself to be. She knew the only way to save face was to convince Mick and Nicky that they belonged together before the truth was unveiled. Unfortunately the information became tainted, keeping Nicky from trusting Mick. Secrets and lies became embroiled in a heated battle of push and shove, one in which burning feelings were revealed. As the event unfolded, the truth becoming evident, one final issue stood in the way. The price of love could cost them everything…
