About This Book

The Rough Riders is a historical novel based on true life events. It spans the lives of two men; one a Rough Rider who fought in three wars and was the great, great, grandson of a soldier in George Washington's Revolutionary Army of Independence. The other was a rider who had it rough, and traces his journey from Spain to Cuba and back again. They were men of little discipline in one case, and too much discipline in the other. From the rum soaked back streets of Cuba, the Philippines, Hong Kong and San Francisco; to the foggy mountains of Spain, and the cane fields of Cuba, follow the high adventures of these two travelers. The Journey is both fascinating and bloody.
