About This Book

The Room is a cross-genre political thriller about power and corruption at the highest levels of society including organized crime and a Presidential assassination. It is filled with action, romance, mystery and humor. It is a 'page-turner" with a surprise ending that will leave readers wanting a follow-up novel. The majority of the action takes place in New York City where the protagonist, FBI Agent Claire Ross, attempts to solve a kidnapping and stop the assassination of the President. She and her partner, Cal Winkler, uncover a plot of greed and meglomania involving politics, business and organized crime. Along the way Claire finds herself thrust into an emotion wrenching love triangle which ends in tragedy. The story examines the old adage: "Power corrupts, absolute power corrupts absolutely." The book carries the reader through scenes of emotion, tension, violence and intrigue and concludes with hopeful despair.
