The Road to Lazarus

The Road to Lazarus is a story of good triumphing evil. This is the first of the series. In this book, you will meet Raven Wagner who has been through one battered relationship after another. She thinks she has done a good job of building walls around who she really is for those around her, but she will soon learn no matter how hard she has tried to hide her past God has a different plan for her. When her life as a an LAPD detective brings her to meet a group of brothers through the murder of the youngest brother. Each of the brothers brings a unique trait to the story. As a whole the brothers work in a mysterious group that helps the abused and forgotten of the world find and then live a new life. As the story and the characters progress, the reader will be questioned on what they believe about God and how he fits in the readers life. The writing style in which the story is told is controversial. As it should be when engaging people to think outside of the norm. As the reader turns the pages they will see and understand why the group does what they do. The groups purpose is simple: They exist to wake deadened hearts.
