But in her own private life Pat wasn't following the sensible blueprint she had made for her future after losing her fiancé in a plane crash. Pat had promised herself that she would never...could never fall in love again. So the prospect of a comfortable marriage to Al Croft, a handsome but unromantic banker, seemed the wisest move.
