This is a novel. The central character Rev. Flowers’ cherished dream is to lead her gospel church to respectability in mainstream religious circles. Every day her religious views are evolving, but are they evolving fast enough for issues like homosexuality and same-sex marriage? Would her evangelical congregation follow her?
