Wanted: Rancher in Planter's Point, Nebraska, looks for adventurous girl willing to be his wife. Violet Swanson responds to the advert in the paper with haste. Fleeing an abusive father and an arranged marriage, she travels to Planter's Point to answer the call from handsome cattle rancher, Kyle Stuart. Kyle runs an expansive, prosperous ranch, where he lives with his sweet mother, Grace. Together, they've gone through good times and bad. Now, as Grace's health falters, she begs Kyle to find a wife, so he won't be alone. Violet adjusts rapidly to frontier life - but when villainous gang leader Roger Bonnet comes back from Kyle's past, she discovers all is not as it seems.
