An autumn chill is in the air. The wind swirls in the hackberry leaves. And a murder is committed inside the Cherokee National Museum: a prominent lawyer struck down by a poisoned dart. Molly Bearpaw, investigator for the Native American Advocacy League, is sifting through a world of tribal politics, disaffected youth, and personal passions to find who was behind the killing.
