While on a mission of mercy outside Charles Towne, South Carolina, Grace Westcott is kidnapped. Captain Rafe Dubois snatched Grace for the money, but when he gets her aboard his ship, her kind heart makes him second-guess his decision. Grace isn't certain why God has put her in this situation—unless it's to bring redemption to the wicked mercenary.
