About This Book

Clean and wholesome Christmas Novelette.

Ann Farley was raised by her gramps from when she was a baby when her ma and pa died. Her gramps did the best he could for her, but she knew she had to do something to take care of herself becasue all she had was a run down shack to live in with no way to support herself. She advertised as a mail order bride and when Daniel Hollister asked her to marry him in one of his letters, she thanked God for blessing her with a new start on life.

Daniel Hollister knew that Ann had nothing, but that didn't bother him. Ann told him she was raggedy and that she hoped she wasn't an embarrassment to him. Daniel wasn't a rich man and had a farm his pa left him when he passed on that needed a lot of work. He wanted Ann to marry him because her letters proved she was a good woman and would help him on the farm. Now if he could just put a stop to Lettie Black, owner of the saloon in town, from trying to ruin their lives, they just might find happiness.
