The Princess in the Pigpen

What in the world is a beautiful little princess from 17th-century England doing in 20th-century Iowa in the middle of a pen full of squealing pigs? That's what Elizabeth would like to know. She had been lying in her royal sick bed with a raging fever when she was mysteriously transported into a time and place so incredible she could hardly believe it. Women wear pants instead of gowns, carriages are running without horses, lights go on at the touch of a switch, and most amazing of all, doctors have a magic medicine that makes Elizabeth's fever go away.

Elizabeth is so excited about everything in this strange place. How she'd love to travel back—and take her new friend Ann with her—so she could tell her family about all the wonders of the future. The trouble is, even the magic of the 20th century doesn't include the key to getting a 17th century princess back to where she belongs.
