The Princess and the Rainbow Coat

One morning while out hunting, a king discovers a mysterious creature wearing a rainbow coat made from the feathers of many different birds. To his amazement, the creature is a young girl who cannot - or will not - speak. Puzzled by her regal air yet humble appearance, the king puts her to work in the palace kitchens. Later he throws a sumptuous masked ball, but the lavish banquet is soon eclipsed by a beautiful stranger. The king is captivated, but in an instant she has vanished and he doesn't know her name, much less how to find her again.
