The Prime Minister's Wife

Jonathon Haynes has just finished Oxford with a First in Political Sciences and is looking forward to a political career, until his father tells him he will be cut off without a sou, unless he marries Bernadette Wragg. Bernadette Wragg is a young teenager mourning the loss of her father, until she is informed that his Will includes a codicil. She must marry Jonathon Haynes or lose all rights to her families properties. They are married by Proxy and manage to ignore each other's existence until Jonathon wins the election and becomes Prime Minister. More famous for his "profligate" lifestyle than his policies, Jonathon must brave the censure of his peers as Bernadette is yanked from her idyllic life in Ireland and forced to become The Prime Minister's wife.
